Examples of household hazardous waste are oil based paint, pesticides, antifreeze, and lawn chemicals.  These events are free to Chester County residents.  There is a limit of 25 gallons and/or 220 pounds per household per event.

  NOT ACCEPTABLE AT THESE COLLECTION EVENTS:
    Electronic Waste ( including TV's and Computer Monitors, etc.)
    Unidentified Waste
    Tires
    Latex Paint
    Trash
    Fire Extinguishers
    Explosives & Ammunition
    Appliances with Freon or any other Appliances
    Propane-Helium Tanks
    Asbestos
    Infectious or Medical Waste
    Radioactive Waste
    Pressurized CFCs & HCFCs
    Gas Cyclinders
    Alkaline Batteries
    50 Gallon and/or Metal Drums
